Wisconsin State Parks cancellations
Sold out on Wisconsin State Parks reservations? People cancel all the time, and the site goes straight back on sale with no notice. Pick a park below and your dates. We check it around the clock and email you when a site opens. You book it yourself, in your own Wisconsin State Parks reservations account.
Wisconsin State Parks reservations can also notify you itself: it has its own availability notifications. What we add is one search and one account across it, Recreation.gov and 31 other state and provincial systems, with push notifications on your phone, and links that open the park's booking page on the night that came up.
Wisconsin State Parks cancellation policy for campsites
- By 3 p.m. Central, two days before arrival: all your camping fees back, but not the $9.30 reservation fee or the $10 cancellation fee.
- After that: you also lose the first night's camping fee.
How far ahead: from 11 months before arrival up to the same day.
Wisconsin's FAQ says a cancelled site goes straight back into the inventory for the next customer. That's the moment an alert catches.
From Wisconsin DNR's camping FAQ, read Oct 4, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
