Nova Scotia Provincial Parks cancellations

Sold out on Nova Scotia Parks reservations? People cancel all the time, and the site goes straight back on sale with no notice. Pick a park below and your dates. We check it around the clock and email you when a site opens. You book it yourself, in your own Nova Scotia Parks reservations account.

Nova Scotia Parks reservations can also notify you itself: it has its own availability notifications. What we add is one search and one account across it, Recreation.gov and 31 other state and provincial systems, with push notifications on your phone, and links that open the park's booking page on the night that came up.

Nova Scotia Provincial Parks cancellation policy for campsites

• Before 2 pm on the date of the reservation: a full refund minus the booking fee and the cancellation fee.
• The fees: $6.95 to cancel or change and an $8.95 reservation fee, neither refunded, in Nova Scotia's 2026 fee table and FAQ. Its reservations page still says $7.00 and $9.00.

From Nova Scotia Provincial Parks' reservations page and 2026 fees, read Oct 4, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
