Connecticut State Parks cancellation policy for campsites
- Every reservation: a $9 reservation fee.
- More than 7 days before arrival: a full refund less that fee and a $9 cancellation fee.
- 2 to 7 days before: both fees plus one night.
- Less than 2 days before, or a no-show: no refund.
- Changes: $9 for new dates or a new site.
How far ahead: 11 months before the stay.
You can book up to the day before arrival (48 hours ahead at Macedonia Brook and Mashamoquet Brook), so a site cancelled late can still be caught for tomorrow.
From Connecticut DEEP's campground reservations page, read Oct 5, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
