Ohio State Parks cancellations

Sold out on ReserveOhio? People cancel all the time, and the site goes straight back on sale with no notice. Pick a park below and your dates. We check it around the clock and email you when a site opens. You book it yourself, in your own ReserveOhio account.

Our emails link to the campground's site grid on ReserveOhio; pick the night there (its pages don't take a date from a link).

Ohio State Parks cancellation policy for campsites

• 31 or more days before arrival: you lose only the $6.50 reservation fee.
• 4 to 30 days before: the reservation fee plus a $6 cancellation fee.
• 3 days or less before: the reservation fee plus one night's rental.
• No-show without calling the park: you forfeit everything you paid.
• Booked far ahead: if your departure date is more than 6 months after the day you booked, you can't cancel for 90 days.

How far ahead: 6 months before arrival for campsites (12 for cabins).

From Ohio DNR's reservation policy, read Oct 4, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
