Pennsylvania State Parks cancellation policy for campsites
- Every reservation: a $6.50 transaction fee that isn't refunded.
- Seven days or more before arrival: a $10 cancellation fee.
- Six days or less before: you lose the first night's fee.
- Changes: $10 each, except adding nights.
- No-show: all fees kept; the park holds the site for the whole reservation.
How far ahead: 11 months ahead, up to noon on the day of arrival, for most campsites.
A reservation made on the day its dates first go on sale (11 months out) can't be moved or cancelled for 22 days, so those sites only come back after that.
From Pennsylvania DCNR's cancellation and change policy and RV and tent campsites, read Oct 5, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
