Parks Canada cancellations

Sold out on Parks Canada reservations? People cancel all the time, and the site goes straight back on sale with no notice. Pick a park below and your dates. We check it around the clock and email you when a site opens. You book it yourself, in your own Parks Canada reservations account.

Parks Canada reservations can also notify you itself: it has its own availability notifications. What we add is one search and one account across it, Recreation.gov and 31 other state and provincial systems, with push notifications on your phone, and links that open the park's booking page on the night that came up.

Parks Canada cancellation policy for campsites

Change or cancellation fee: $11.50 online or $13.50 by phone. The reservation fee isn't refunded.
At least 3 days before arrival: everything else back.
Less than 3 days before, up to 11 am the day after arrival: you also lose the first night's camping fee.

How far ahead: no rolling window: each location opens its entire season for reservations on one launch day.

From Parks Canada's reservation terms and how to reserve, read Oct 4, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
