BC Parks cancellations

Sold out on BC Parks reservations? People cancel all the time, and the site goes straight back on sale with no notice. Pick a park below and your dates. We check it around the clock and email you when a site opens. You book it yourself, in your own BC Parks reservations account.

BC Parks reservations can also notify you itself: it has its own availability notifications. What we add is one search and one account across it, Recreation.gov and 31 other state and provincial systems, with push notifications on your phone, and links that open the park's booking page on the night that came up.

BC Parks cancellation policy for campsites

Cancellation fee: $6 plus tax per campsite, waived when the cancellation gets no refund.
Over 7 days before arrival: a full refund of camping fees for the cancelled nights.
Within 7 days of arrival: one night's camping fee is kept.
On your arrival date: two nights' camping fees are kept. You can cancel until 11:59 pm if you haven't checked in.

How far ahead: up to three months before arrival, for your whole stay.

A site whose campers don't arrive is held until 11 am the morning after their arrival date, then cancelled and made available to other visitors.

From BC Parks' cancellation windows and frontcountry camping page, read Oct 4, 2026. Cabins, yurts and group sites often have their own rules; this is the one for campsites.
