Yosemite

Forested sites at 6,200 ft near the Tuolumne and Merced Groves of giant sequoias. 30 minutes from the Valley.

Just inside the Big Oak Flat entrance. Good base for Hetch Hetchy and the north side of the park.

Riverside sites on the Merced with Half Dome views. One of the hardest reservations in the country.

Quietest of the Valley's Pines campgrounds, tucked between the Merced River and Tenaya Creek.

High-country camping at 8,600 ft along Tioga Road. Summer only.

The largest Yosemite Valley campground, open year-round. Walking distance to Half Dome trailheads and Curry Village.

South-entrance campground along the South Fork Merced, near the Mariposa Grove.
